AI Agent for B2B Contact Data Enrichment

AI Agent for B2B Contact Data Enrichment

AI + Sales Technology Case Study

DreamzTech built a region-aware AI data enrichment agent for a US-based trade show exhibit and event-services company. The platform converts scraped company records into structured B2B contact profiles with names, roles, business emails, phone data, company attributes and campaign context, then hands selected contacts to an AI agents for sales automation outreach workflow. The production platform holds 22,860 contact records across 74 shows. Of those records, 17,857 carry an email address—a 78.1% coverage rate—and the dataset contains 14,048 distinct email addresses across 4,933 distinct companies.

  • 22,860 contact records across 74 shows
  • 78.1% of rows carry an email address (17,857 of 22,860)
  • 14,048 distinct email addresses across 4,933 distinct companies
  • 100% of 74 shows completed — zero failed show records

Quick Answers

Overview

Company-level exhibitor data is only the beginning of a B2B sales workflow. Teams still need to identify relevant people, add job and company context, manage duplicates, control sensitive fields, review data quality and move the right contacts into outreach without losing event context.

DreamzTech delivered the second stage of a three-part pipeline: Scraper, Enrichment and Outreach. Shows arrive automatically from the scraping agent with dates, locations and event codes, or through a validated enriched CSV. The enrichment agent ingests the result, exposes contact-level search and segmentation, supports governed bulk updates and passes approved contacts to the same-region outreach workflow.

The architecture keeps US and EU agents separate end to end. A regional enrichment agent sees only matching scraper shows and sends contacts only to the corresponding outreach destination, with credentials, permissions and operational history scoped to the selected workflow.

The Challenges

The Solution DreamzTech Delivered

DreamzTech delivered the second stage of the event-data pipeline as nine connected components spanning regional control, intake, contact-level enrichment, segmentation, governed bulk updates, selective verification and outreach handoff.

DreamzTech configured dedicated US and EU enrichment agents with BestBrain single sign-on. Each workflow has its own region, data, credentials, permission state and outreach destination. A show cannot be attached to or pushed into the wrong regional workflow.

Shows can arrive automatically from the upstream scraper with event metadata already populated. A multi-show CSV path groups rows by show name and start date, matches them to same-region scraper records, disambiguates duplicate candidates and blocks missing required columns or invalid rows before import.

The agent exposes contact names, job titles, company, email status, masked phone, country, location, company size, profile links, enrichment score, industry, keywords, portfolio link, show page and show industry. A drawer brings the contact, company and event details together for review.

Operators can search by name, email or company and work through five contact segments: All, Both, Low Volume, High Volume and No Data. Company and country filters stay scoped to the active segment. Phone numbers remain masked until an authorized user requests access.

An If/Set builder applies conditional updates only within one show. Every update requires a preview that matches at least one contact; edits invalidate the preview. Else logic shows explicit warnings, self-matching rules are blocked where unsafe, and the result reports applied passes and affected contacts.

The delivered verification workflow supports synchronous checks for small selections, background jobs for larger sets, restart-safe job re-attachment, a 48-hour cooldown, address-level deduplication and bucketed results. At the measured snapshot, the third-party integration required remediation, so no public verification-performance claim should be made.

Authorized users can push or re-push a show to the AI agents for sales automation workflow, replace the previously selected set, add one contact non-destructively or remove one contact without affecting others. The handoff carries show name, dates, structured location and contact-level campaign fields.

Failed runs display the detailed workflow-engine error, retry guidance and an execution metadata grid. When possible, the platform restores show name, date, location, event code and source URL from the original scraper-to-enrichment snapshot so the run remains identifiable.

Ten permissions govern show listing, import, contact detail access, CSV download, verification, bulk updates, outreach actions and settings. Credentials are masked, independently managed and scoped to the selected workflow; permissions refresh when users switch agents.

How the AI Enrichment Agent Works

Ten stages carry a scraped show or CSV import from intake through segmentation and governed review to an outreach-ready handoff.

Region-Aware Reference Architecture

Regional control is one governed layer among several stable ones — enrichment data and outreach routing do not change when a new scraper source is added:

LayerDelivered responsibility
ExperienceBestBrain SSO, agent selection, shows list, show detail, contact table and settings
Regional controlPersistent US/EU scope for data, credentials, permissions, source matching and outreach routing
IntakeScraper push, automatic caching, lazy ingest fallback and multi-show CSV matching
Enrichment dataContact, role, email, phone, company, location, scoring, industry and event fields
Operator toolsSearch, segments, filters, cross-page selection, detail drawer and CSV export
Data governanceShow-scoped If/Set rules, mandatory preview, side-effect handling and partial-application reporting
VerificationSmall/batch execution, restart-safe jobs, cooldown, address dedupe and status buckets
Outreach integrationPush, re-push, replace selected set, individual add/remove and merge fields
RecoveryWorkflow-engine error detail, retry guidance and restored event metadata for failed runs

Success and Outcomes

The following results come from the production database snapshot dated September 7, 2026. Global collection figures are used for audience size; per-show snapshot totals are not substituted for globally distinct counts. They demonstrate contact-data throughput and completion; they are not a measure of verification performance, pipeline value or revenue.

22,860 Contact Records

Live contact rows recorded in the production database.

78.1% Email Coverage

17,857 of 22,860 contact rows carry an email address; coverage, not verification.

14,048 Distinct Emails

Globally distinct email addresses across the full collection.

4,933 Distinct Companies

Globally distinct company names represented in the contact set.

74 Shows Enriched

No failed show records at the September 7, 2026 snapshot.

309 Average Contacts Per Show

Mean contact volume across the 74 enriched shows.

932 Enrichment Executions

Resolved rows recorded across the production execution window.

85.0% Successful Execution Outcomes

792 success, succeeded or enriched rows out of 932 total.

15,099 High-Volume Segment Contacts

66.0% of contacts are associated with companies having more than three contacts.

13 of 74 Shows Pushed to Outreach

377 contact references handed off; adoption, not a conversion metric.

What the Results Prove—and What They Do Not

The figures above are read from production data on a stated date. Here is exactly what they support, and what they do not:

Conclusion

This project shows how a custom AI agent can bridge the gap between account-level data and controlled sales execution. DreamzTech combined region-aware intake, contact enrichment, searchable segmentation, safe data operations, selective verification and outreach handoff in one production workflow. If your sales or revenue-operations team spends time turning incomplete account lists into usable contact records, DreamzTech can design a B2B data enrichment agent around your sources, governance rules, review process and CRM or outreach systems. This project is Stage 2 of a three-part pipeline — see the AI trade show exhibitor data agent that supplies its source companies, and explore DreamzTech's AI agent development services or AI-powered CRM development.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

B2B data enrichment adds useful company and contact attributes to an existing account or lead record. These attributes can include names, job titles, business emails, phone data, company size, geography, industry, profile links and campaign context.

The strongest primary industry is Sales Technology / Revenue Operations. It also fits Marketing Technology and Event Technology because the contacts originate from trade show company data and are prepared for campaign outreach.

An AI data enrichment agent is a governed workflow that receives incomplete records, adds permitted information, validates and organizes the result, supports operator review and hands approved records to another system. It combines model-assisted tasks with deterministic rules, permissions and integrations.

Lead enrichment software matches a company or person to additional data, creates a structured profile, applies validation and segmentation rules, and syncs the approved record into a CRM, sales intelligence or outreach workflow.

The platform received companies and event metadata from a regional scraping agent, built contact-level records, preserved show context, allowed operators to segment and refine the data, and passed selected email-bearing contacts to the corresponding outreach workflow.

The delivered contact view includes name, job title, company, business email, masked phone, contact country, location, company size, profile links, score, industry, keywords, portfolio link, show page and show industry.

At the September 7, 2026 snapshot, the platform held 22,860 contact rows across 74 shows and 4,933 distinct companies. It contained 14,048 globally distinct email addresses.

It means 17,857 of 22,860 contact rows contained an email address. It does not mean every address was independently verified, deliverable or approved for marketing use.

It automates intake and caching, supports server-side search and filters, segments large contact sets, enables cross-page selection, applies previewed show-scoped updates and uses controlled handoffs instead of manual file-by-file processing.

The delivered project sends data to an outreach workflow rather than directly to a named CRM. The same pattern can connect to a CRM through approved APIs, field mapping, identity resolution and conflict rules designed for that system — see DreamzTech’s AI-powered CRM development.

Users define If/Set conditions within one show, preview the matched contacts and then apply the update. Changing the rule invalidates the preview, and the platform reports how many passes and contacts were updated.

The feature supports immediate checks for small selections and background jobs for larger sets, with a 48-hour cooldown, address-level deduplication, job re-attachment and result buckets. The measured third-party integration required remediation, so no verification success rate is claimed.

Phone values are masked in the main contact table and revealed through an explicit access action. Access should also be governed by permissions, logging and the organization’s privacy policy.

Each enrichment agent has a fixed region with its own data, credentials, permissions, scraper-show choices and outreach destination. The import and push workflows enforce same-region matching.

Yes. Users can push all eligible contacts, choose a filtered selection, replace a previously pushed set, add an individual contact or remove one contact without deleting the rest of the show.

Organizations should establish a lawful basis, collect only necessary data, honor applicable notice and rights requirements, protect credentials and personal information, enforce retention rules, and review provider and source terms. Legal review is appropriate across jurisdictions.

Look for production evidence, source governance, regional controls, explainable data operations, exception recovery, human review, observability and secure downstream integration—not only a prototype or model demonstration.
